We stayed here overnight me my husband, and 2 daughters both under the age of two. The rooms were clean the service was amazing, all employees we met were super friendly and helpful. Also really enjoy their breakfast wasn’t just cold cereal like most places and had plenty of options. I will definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent place to stay particularly if you have children. Everything has a North woods theme to it. The rooms were very comfortable and felt spacious. Bathrooms were immaculate and will laid out. We had a great free breakfast in the morning that included some form of eggs some form of a breakfast meat cereals fruits juices etc. The rates were great! The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel maids were very friendly. A little cooler reception in the dining room. I would say the only thing that I truly disliked was a faint mustiness if the AC was not running in our room. We don’t swim so I can’t tell you anything about the pool except that I know it was open. They do not offer daily maid service, which was excellent for me because I never let them in anyway. If you need something ask at the front desk.

The stay at Stoney Creek was both relaxing and romantic. We reserved a whirlpool suite, and even tho the room we wanted was accidentally double booked, they were able to give us an acceptable substitute.
We had a couple small issues and they overly compensated by giving us free drinks passes for the hotel bar.
The bartender was so kind, so friendly and so helpful! The rooms were clean and stocked with Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint soaps and lotion 😍
Breakfast was busy, but hot and ready! Would recommend for a great weekend away. #StoneyCreek #StoneyCreekHotel #DesMoines

The ladies at the front desk were amazing and very friendly. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed the log cabin rustic feel. A nice change from your basic hotel. They are pet friendly, which is a plus. The bar opens at 4pm and serves pizza and finger foods, which are delicious. Breakfast was great with many options available. Would definitely visit again

Where can I start! This place was so beautiful our room had that cottage feel . Looks like they put so much thought and detail when building the cottages ! Everything was beyond amazing! Definitely worth every penny! And the breakfast is delicious . They have an omelette bar! My husband and I enjoyed the king suite our favorite part was having a jacuzzi feet away from our bed that was pretty cool! We will definitely be coming back !
